Itel P55 with Dimensity 6080 launched as cheapest 5G phone in India

The itel P55 has officially launched in India alongside the itel S23+. Starting at ₹9,699, the P55 is India's most affordable 5G smartphone. Meanwhile, the itel S23+ is the first phone under ₹15,000 to feature a 3D curved display. The itel P55 features a 6.6-inch HD+ resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The P55 is powered by Android 13 and supports a microSD card of up to 256GB.

The itel P55 has a dual camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP primary camera. There's an 8MP selfie camera on the front.

The P55 also has a fingerprint reader on the side and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The itel P55 is priced at ₹9699 for the 4GB+64GB storage model and ₹9999 for the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage. It goes on sale from October 4 on Amazon.

itel S23+ specifications & pricing

The itel S23+ features a 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. itel claims it offers 500 nits peak brightness and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. The S23+ is also topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection.

The itel S23+ is powered by a Unisoc T616 octa-core processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There's an option to expand the storage via a microSD card of up to 256GB.

The phone has a 50MP primary camera on the back and a 32MP selfie camera upfront.

It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The itel S23+ is priced at ₹13,999 and will go on sale from October 6 in India.
