Did you like the styling of the Honda Elevate? Or do you want a sprinkle of Americana on top? If that’s the case, DAMD from Japan has just the thing for you. Called the Reverb, DAMD has a body kit for the Honda WR-V, the Elevate’s Japanese version, that gives it a completely different front end.

Think of a second-generation Jeep Cherokee, internally called the XJ, and the DAMD Reverb looks exactly like that from the front. While the Elevate (or WR-V) has a sort of a boxy design, DAMD has gone a step further and made it even boxier. DAMD has replaced the headlamps, grille and bumpers with boxier ones. It gets square headlamps, a boxy grille with six vertical slats and chunky bumpers.

DAMD has also given the Elevate all-terrain tyres from BF Goodrich wrapped around steel wheels. Surprisingly, DAMD has also lifted the Elevate (WR-V) by around 30-35 mm with Tanabe suspension. It also gets wooden-looking decals running from the headlamps to the taillamps. Interestingly, DAMD hasn’t touched the rear of the Elevate a lot.

And what’s the cost for all this Americana flavour for the Honda Elevate (or WR-V)? Well, the face upgrade will cost you around JPY 298,000 (roughly ₹1.76 lakh), while getting LED bulbs will set you back JPY 24,000 (roughly ₹14,200) and the door decals will cost JPY 58,000 (roughly ₹34,000). Well, this is currently available only in Japan, but if you are willing, who’s to stop you from importing a kit for your Elevate?
