Czech motorcycle brand Jawa has unveiled an intriguing new prototype, the Jawa 1000 Sport Cruiser concept, making its public debut at the Brno bike show. Developed through a partnership between the Czech manufacturer and Chinese brand Jedi, production of this exclusive model will reportedly be limited to just 15 units globally.
The concept motorcycle is powered by a 1,000 cc engine that is said to generate around 113 bhp, while the machine tips the scales at an estimated 240 kg. Visually, the concept is the work of designer Jan Hrbek, who has integrated flowing body lines and a low-slung stance with the iconic signature paint scheme of Jawa.
Despite its cruiser ergonomics, the chassis is equipped with high-performance components, including top-tier Brembo Stylema brake calipers and premium Ohlins suspension at both the front and rear. The exhaust configuration is completed with a distinct Leo Vince end can, which promises a pleasing acoustic note assuming the engine adopts a 270-degree crankshaft layout.

While showcased as a pre-production prototype at Brno, the actual readiness of the motorcycle remains questionable. Crucially, the highly unconventional appearance of the engine casings suggests that the display bike may currently be an early-stage, non-functional 3D-printed or clay styling buck rather than a running machine.
A definitive timeline for a production-ready model has not been announced, and the commercial viability of a highly exclusive motorcycle from a niche brand remains uncertain. This is further compounded by a projected price tag estimated around £53,000 (approximately ₹56 lakh), indicating that the Sport Cruiser will face a challenging market outside of a select group of wealthy collectors and dedicated brand loyalists.
