Jawa's modern classic evolves with a bold new look and many functional upgrades.
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new Jawa 42 All Stars in India, with prices starting at ₹1,79,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle completes the brand's new Jawa All Stars range, joining the recently introduced Jawa 42 FJ and 42 Bobber. The Jawa 42 gets its biggest upgrade since its debut in 2018. While it retains its modern classic identity, the motorcycle now has a bolder design, improved ergonomics, and many other enhancements aimed at making it more comfortable and engaging to ride.
The new Jawa 42 features a more muscular stance with redesigned side panels, a wider front tyre, new design alloy wheels, an upswept twin exhaust muffler, and a wider rear tyre. At the rear, it gets a 150/70-17 tyre and a reworked fender, giving the bike a stronger road presence.
Jawa has also updated the 790 mm seat with better cushioning while retaining its signature flat bench design. Along with styling changes, the company says it has improved the motorcycle's frame stiffness, swingarm, and weight distribution. The above should help improve the handling dynamics and make it more agile in city traffic.
Powering the motorcycle is the familiar 294.72 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. The launch also marks the completion of the company's Jawa All Stars lineup. According to Jawa, the All Stars badge represents a shared identity built around character, courage, and camaraderie. The range now consists of the sporty Jawa 42 FJ, the distinctive 42 Bobber, and the new Jawa 42.
The Jawa 42 All Stars is available in six colour options, with prices ranging from ₹1,79,942 to ₹1,89,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings are now open at Jawa Yezdi dealerships across India, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from September 14, 2026, ahead of the festive season.
