Jawa 42 Debuts New Ivory Colour

Classic Legends has expanded its neo-classic portfolio with the launch of a new Ivory colour for the Jawa 42. The bike gets a fresh pastel shade, aimed at those looking for a subtle colour option. The Jawa 42 first made its debut in 2018 and over the years has received cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. On the Ivory colour option, the numerical and text ‘42’ icons are printed on the fuel tank and centre panel in a more retro style. The number “42” remains central to the bike’s identity, inspired by The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, where 42 symbolises life’s ultimate meaning. 

Commenting on the new addition, Anupam Thareja, co-founder, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said, "The Jawa 42 rewrote the classic playbook back in 2018. Powering the Jawa 42 Ivory is a 294 cc liquid-cooled J-Panther engine that produces 27 bhp and 26.84 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and the company claims it delivers up to 40 percent more power than other 350 cc motorcycles in the segment which include the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda CB350 H’ness. Talking about pricing, the Jawa 42 Ivory retails for ₹1,84,950 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
