Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, in partnership with the Indian Army, has successfully concluded the 1,900 km Shaurya Vijay Yatra at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Flagged off from the National War Memorial in New Delhi by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the motorcycling expedition brought together serving and retired defence personnel, Veer Naris, families of martyrs, and civilian riders to honour the veterans and fallen heroes of the 1999 Kargil War.
A key symbolic highlight of the journey involved carrying sacred soil from the National War Memorial in Delhi directly to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras, linking generations of Indian military personnel. Navigating the challenging terrains of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, the convoy paid homage at major military landmarks along the route, including Chandimandir, Rezang La, and the Leh War Memorial, before reaching its final destination.

Conceptualised by Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles in 2021, the annual ride serves as a joint civil-military effort aimed at keeping the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces alive in public memory.
The demanding high-altitude journey was completed using a fleet of Jawa and Yezdi models, including the Jawa 350, Jawa 42, Jawa 42 FJ, Yezdi Adventure, and Yezdi Scrambler. Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, stated that the initiative is designed to ensure the stories of India's soldiers continue to inspire future generations while uniting the military and riding communities around shared values of national service and courage.
