Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition Launched At ₹19.49 Lakh

In a bid to keep the Compass relevant to Indian buyers, Jeep India has launched a new special edition of the midsize SUV, called the Sandstorm Edition. It is available on the Sport, Longitude and Longitude (O) trims and is available at a premium of ₹49,999 over the respective trim. Prices for the Sandstorm Edition range between ₹19.49 - 27.33 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Sandstorm Edition is an add-on accessories package that gets special graphics on the bonnet, a Sandstorm badge on the front quarter as well as the rear doors and rear quarter panels. It also gets new seat covers, programmable ambient lighting, a dashcam with front and rear recording, and new mats. 

Under the hood, the Sandstorm Edition gets the same 2.0-litre diesel engine churning out 168 bhp and 3050 Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission.
