Jeep India has officially rolled out the much-anticipated 'Trail Edition' for its popular SUV line-up, the Compass and Meridian. These limited-run models, designed to amplify off-road aesthetics and ownership value, are now available across all Jeep dealerships nationwide. The Jeep Compass Trail Edition starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹25.41 lakh, while the Jeep Meridian Trail Edition begins at ₹31.27 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).
The introduction of these special editions underscores Jeep's commitment to offering unique and feature-rich variants to the Indian market. The 'Trail Edition' badge signifies not just cosmetic enhancements but also a distinct persona tailored for adventure enthusiasts.

Based on the Compass's mid-spec Longitude (O) variant, the Trail Edition boasts an array of cosmetic upgrades emphasising its adventurous character. Exterior highlights include Trail Edition-specific hood and side body decals, matte black grille accents, and Neutral Grey trim on grille rings, window mouldings, roof rails, and badges. Red accent elements on the lower front fascia add a striking contrast, complemented by 18-inch granite metallic satin gloss dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the Compass Trail Edition features black leatherette seats with red contrast stitching and Ignite Red mid-bolsters on the dashboard. Red highlights extend to the steering wheel, gear boot, and seats, enhancing the sporty ambience. A dark camouflage dashboard graphic and Trail Edition-branded all-weather floor mats complete the interior package.
The Meridian Trail Edition, derived from the premium Limited (O) variant, offers a more refined yet equally adventurous design. It showcases a prominent hood decal and Trail Edition badging, alongside a high-gloss black roof and blacked-out ORVMs for enhanced visual drama. Extensive use of Neutral Grey and Piano Black accents can be seen on the grille, headlamp surrounds, rear valence, roof rail inserts, and lightbar moulding. The red elements on the front lower fascia echo Jeep’s legendary off-road heritage.
The Meridian’s interior is similarly upgraded, featuring a full black vinyl interior with ruby red accents on the dashboard and door panels. Camouflage-themed inlays and a piano black centre console treatment contribute to its special edition status. Redesigned speaker surrounds and Trail-themed scuff plates further align with the overall styling.
Beyond the aesthetic enhancements, Jeep India is introducing the 'Jeep Trust' program, aimed at significantly improving the long-term ownership experience.
Both Trail Edition models retain the full suite of standard features from their respective base variants. Mechanically, they are powered by the robust 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant. The Meridian Trail Edition also continues to offer a capable 4x4 configuration for enhanced off-road prowess.
