Despite packing in a more powerful engine than before, the new Kawasaki Versys 1100 is now more affordable.
Kawasaki has expanded its adventure touring lineup in India with the launch of the new 2025 Versys 1100, priced at ₹12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Unlike its European brethren, where the bike is sold in three variants, the new Kawasaki Versys 1100 will be available here in just one variant with just one colour option, i.e., Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black.
At the heart of this touring motorcycle sits the same inline-four engine but displacement has increased from 1,043 cc to 1,099 cc. This was achieved by increasing the stroke length from 56 mm to 59 mm. Along with that, the compression ratio is also higher, plus the airbox is larger and camshaft profiles have been updated – all of which have helped increase the power output from 118 bhp to 133 bhp, and torque has increased by 11 Nm to 112.5 Nm. Due to these changes in performance, Kawasaki has also updated the gear ratios of the bike.

While the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 has carried forward the same body design as before. There are a few visual tweaks around the engine section due to the larger connector pipes, and a larger radiator. Beyond that there are no visual upgrades at all, thereby the underpinnings and architecture of the bike are also the same. However, the rear brake size has increased with a larger 260 mm rotor, but the dual discs at the front are the same 310 mm.
Sadly, Kawasaki has not added any new features to the 2025 Versys 1100. It continues with the same all-LED lighting, and adjustable windscreen setup as before. The same suit of rider assist features which includes the likes of electronic cruise control, IMU, KTRC, multiple power modes and ride modes, etc, have stayed the same.

The latest Versys 1100 is now available in all Kawasaki dealerships across India. Just like the previous iteration before, the new Kawasaki Versys 1100 will continue targeting riders who are seeking for a versatile motorcycle capable of handling both touring and daily rides efficiently.
