Kawasaki has officially launched the Z300 streetfighter in India, priced at ₹3.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Derived from the Ninja 300, the motorcycle shares most of its cycle parts with its fully faired sport sibling. The Z300 carries a noticeable price premium over its primary segment rivals. Most notably, it is around ₹38,000 more expensive than the 2026 KTM 390 Duke.
Visually, the Z300 draws styling inspiration from Kawasaki's larger Sugomi design philosophy, showcasing an aggressive Z-shaped headlight assembly flanked by pronounced fuel tank extensions. The motorcycle is available in two dual-tone colour schemes: Candy Lime Green with Ebony and Metallic Carbon Gray with Ebony.
Underneath, the Z300 is powered by the same 296 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine found in the Ninja 300. The motor produces 39.4 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.3 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch alongside dual throttle valves. Fuel capacity stands at a generous 17 litres, outclassing most competitors in its segment.
Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm conventional telescopic front forks and a rear Uni-Trak monoshock. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with braking managed by a 290mm front disc and a 220 mm rear petal disc supported by dual-channel ABS as standard. Ground clearance is rated at 140 mm, with a kerb weight of 175 kg.
Cockpit instrumentation comprises a semi-digital LCD console displaying speed, engine revs, trip data, fuel level, and coolant temperature.
