Kawasaki’s neo-retro Z650RS is being offered at a lower price till the end of April 2026.
Kawasaki India has announced a discount on its Z650RS in India, making the motorcycle more accessible this month. The company is offering benefits worth ₹34,000 on the model, effectively bringing its ex-showroom price down from ₹7.83 lakh to ₹7.49 lakh.
While this promotional offer was previously applicable to the standard, modern-styled Z650 naked bike, the current discount focuses exclusively on the neo-retro Z650RS. Potential buyers have until 30 April to take advantage of this pricing adjustment.
The 2026 Z650RS has recently undergone updates to ensure compliance with the latest E20 fuel norms. Alongside these mechanical refinements, Kawasaki introduced a fresh aesthetic update featuring a sophisticated Blue with Gold wheels paint scheme. This new look replaces the Black and Gold combination found on the previous version.
At its heart, the Z650RS continues to be powered by a dependable 649 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This motor delivers a peak power of 67.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 62.1 Nm of torque, mated to a smooth six-speed gearbox. Interestingly, the peak torque output has seen a marginal reduction of 1.9 Nm compared to the 2025 iteration of the motorcycle.
Standard equipment on the bike remains comprehensive, featuring a dual-channel ABS system for enhanced safety, LED tail lamps, and a signature retro-style twin-pod instrument cluster that complements its old-school charm.
In the Indian market, the Z650RS doesn’t have a direct major rival. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is noticeably cheaper than the Z650RS, but offers much lower power and torque figures as well.
