With the latest update, Kia Carens EV is priced between ₹17.99 lakh and ₹24.99 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Kia has expanded the lineup of its Carens Clavis EV by adding three new variants and seating configuration. The Carens Clavis EV now offers a 6-seater configuration with second-row captain seats, alongside the existing 7-seater layout. The Korean carmaker has also added GT-Line and X-Line trims for the Extended Range variant, offering more design differentiation within the lineup.
One of the key highlights of the latest update is the addition of a 6-seater layout featuring second-row captain seats. This configuration is designed to enhance passenger comfort by providing more personal space and easier access to the third row. According to Kia, the new seating arrangement has been introduced in response to customer feedback, particularly from buyers who prefer a more premium, chauffeur-style travel experience.
The configuration is available across multiple trims, including HTX (E), HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+ and X-Line, while the 7-seater option continues to be offered on GTX, GTX+ and X-Line variants for buyers who require higher passenger capacity. The updated Carens Clavis EV is available in seven exterior colours, including Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Ivory Silver Matte, and the newly introduced Dark Gun Metal.
The updated Carens Clavis EV lineup also gains two new styling trims aimed at customers looking for distinctive visual appeal. The GT-Line variants (GTX and GTX+) adopt a sportier aesthetic, featuring design elements such as new alloy wheels, lime-coloured brake calipers and metal pedals.

Meanwhile, the X-Line Extended Range variant takes on a darker, more rugged theme, highlighted by an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior colour, along with Aurora Black Pearl paint. Additionally, Standard Range trims now feature newly designed 16-inch Black High Gloss Aero alloy wheels, contributing to improved styling across the range.
The Carens Clavis EV continues to be offered with two battery pack options. The 51.4 kWh Extended Range battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 490 km, while the 42 kWh Standard Range battery offers a certified range of 404 km.

Power comes from electric motors rated at 99 kW and 126 kW, producing 255 Nm of torque. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 39 minutes.
Inside the cabin, the Carens Clavis EV offers a wide range of technology and comfort features. These include a 26.62-inch dual panoramic display, more than 85 connected car features, and intuitive controls designed to enhance the overall driving experience.
Other creature comforts such as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, digital key and battery heater technology are available on higher trims including GTX+ and X-Line. Safety equipment remains comprehensive, with 18 safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC).
