Kia Carens Clavis EV is currently available in three trims levels — HTX E, HTX, and HTX Plus — priced between ₹17.99 lakh and ₹24.49 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Kia is looking at expanding the Carens Clavis EV lineup soon with the addition of new variants. According to a leaked document, the Carens Clavis EV is set to receive three new variants namely GTX, GTX+ and X-Line. Moreover, the Carens Clavis EV will also be offered in a six-seater configuration as well.
The six-seat layout will be available in the HTX trim onwards. Currently, Kia offers the Carens Clavis EV in a seven-seater configuration. The six-seat variant will be offered with two captain seats in the middle row, making it a perfect choice for those who want to be chauffeured around extensively.
Kia Carens Clavis EV comes with two battery options — 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. The new variants will be paired exclusively with the Extended Range trims which means they will arrive only with the 51.4 kWh battery pack version. The new variants of the Kia Clavis EV are also expected to receive subtle updates to their exterior styling and interior elements, although specific details have not been disclosed yet.

For instance, the new GTX and X-Line variants are likely to feature a new dark-themed exterior paint scheme with highlighted accents on select elements, including the side door garnish and newly coloured brake calipers, among other details. Similarly, the GTX and X-Line trims are expected to receive a refreshed interior theme, possibly incorporating contrast stitching, new colour combinations, and an overall darker cabin treatment.
