Besides new top-spec variants, the 2026 Kia Carens Clavis comes with new features added in the mid-spec variants.
After updating the lineup of the Carens Clavis EV, Kia has now introduced similar updates and more to its combustion-powered sibling. Kia has now introduced two new trim levels to the Carens Clavis – GT-Line and X-Line. The former comes in two variants — GTX and GTX+ — priced at ₹19.81 lakh and ₹21.57 lakh (both ex-showroom).
On the other hand, the Clavis X-Line comes in a single variant priced at ₹21.57 lakh (ex-showroom). All the three new variants come with a six-seat layout offering captain seats in the middle row. Further, all three variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
These new variants come with distinctive styling elements. For instance, the GT-Line trim comes black high glossy roof rack and ORVMs, new front bumpers with body colour inserts and LED foglamps, body side garnish, new alloy wheel design, lime brake calipers and metal pedals which distinguish it from the rest of the Clavis lineup. Meanwhile, the Carens Clavis X-Line comes wrapped in an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior colour, along with Aurora Black Pearl. Both variants are offered with a digital key as well.
Besides the new variants, Kia has also strengthened the mid-spec variants of the Carens Clavis. For instance, the HTK+ trim is now offered with an electric sunroof whereas a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps and dashcam are now available from the HTK+(O) trim onwards. Further, Kia has also introduced a new HTX(O) A trim that benefits from Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This trim is priced at ₹19.86 lakh (ex-showroom).

Another crucial addition to the MY2026 Kia Carens Clavis is Idle Stop Go (ISG) technology that helps optimise fuel economy and reduce unnecessary fuel consumption during idle conditions in urban traffic.
Mechanically, the Kia Carens Clavis remains unchanged. It comes with the same three engine options – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (114 bhp and 114 Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (115 bhp and 250 Nm), and a 1.5-litre turbo charged petrol unit (158 bhp and 253 Nm). Transmission options include 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
