Kia Syros EV Review 7.webp

Kia India recorded its highest-ever July wholesales of 28,200 units, growing 27.4% year-on-year.

Kia India has announced its highest-ever monthly wholesale dispatches for July since entering the Indian market, reporting sales of 28,200 units. This marks a 27.4% year-on-year growth compared to 22,135 units sold during the same month last year.

Kia's cumulative year-to-date (YTD) wholesales for the January-to-July 2026 period reached 191,949 units, representing a 16.8% increase over the 164,274 units dispatched in the corresponding period of 2025.

The growth performance was supported by steady market momentum across Kia's SUV and MPV offerings. The Seltos remained the primary volume driver, consistently exceeding 10,000 monthly sales and recording a 75.7% YTD increase, while Sonet sales grew 34.5% YTD. Additional demand was generated across the Carens, Clavis, MY26 Syros, and the electric Carens Clavis EV.

Kia India also highlighted initial market traction for its newly introduced Syros EV, its second mass-market electric vehicle manufactured in India. The electric SUV features an ARAI-certified range of 526 km, a 168 bhp power output, and Level 2 ADAS capabilities.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, attributed the performance to consistent customer acceptance across both internal combustion engine and electric lineups as the automaker expands its retail footprint across 905 touchpoints in India.
