Kia India has introduced new variants of the Seltos, the HTE (O), HTK (O) and HTK+ (O). Prices for the new variants start at ₹11.13 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The HTE (O) is now the most affordable, replacing the HTE variant in the Seltos’ variant line-up.
The HTE (O) and HTK (O) variants are only available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine or the 1.5-litre diesel engine but with the 6-speed manual gearbox only. The HTK+ (O) does get these powertrain combinations but the petrol engine also gets CVT automatic option and the diesel engine also gets the 6-speed automatic option.

Compared to the now-discontinued HTE, the HTE (O) gets LED DRLs and taillamps, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, auto headlamps and a reverse camera.
Over the HTE (O), the HTK (O) gets a panoramic sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer, cruise control, ambient lighting and motion sensor in the key. The HTK+ (O) gets all these features but also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with sequential indicators, LED fog lamps and chrome accents on the exterior.
Kia India has sold more than 6 lakh units of the Seltos in the domestic and overseas markets. Hardeep Singh Brar, SVP and National Head, Sales and Marketing, said, “The Seltos continues to be the largest contributor to our overall sales due to the value it delivers to customers. We are committed to continually updating the model to meet the evolving needs of today’s consumers. These new variants will further boast a strong demand.”
