This is going to be most hardcore made-in-India KTM yet
KTM is all set to launch its hardcore off-roader on the new 390 platform, the 390 Enduro R, in the upcoming week. We will be getting to ride the bike soon and will be bringing our experience with the off-roader shortly.
First shown at EICMA 2024, the 390 Enduro R is meant purely as a bike that will literally go anywhere. Climb mountains, cross rivers, jump over rocks and handle our ‘excellent’ roads, it is capable of doing it all. After all, it has 230 mm of suspension travel at both ends, 21-/18-inch spoke wheel setup and Mitas knobby tyres.

Powering the bike will be the same 399 cc single as the new Duke and Adventure, and it too will make in excess of 45 bhp and 39 Nm. It will have a shorter revised final gearing, though, to make it more exciting off-road. And there is a dedicated ABS button for when you want to kill the intervention of the safety aid completely.
We expect KTM to price the Enduro R below the 390 Adventure’s asking price. We believe it is going to be roughly ₹3.30 lakh (ex-showroom India), making it a great buy for those serious off-roaders.
