The top 3 winners of the competition will get an exclusive opportunity to train with MotoGP legends and former GP winners.
KTM is back with the second instalment of its most popular racing championship in the country, KTM Cup. The marque has also altered the format of the competition and it will now have three categories: Pros, Women (New), and Amateurs.
The first round of selection will start in Coimbatore from March 22-24, followed by Delhi (13-14 April), Mumbai (26-28 April), and finally Kolkata (11-12 May). The final round will be on May 26 in Coimbatore at the Kari Motor Speedway.
The Pros category will include season 1 participants and FMSCI License holders/ INMRC Racers from the last 3 years and one-make championship participants. The Women category is open to all female motorcycle enthusiasts, but participants must be KTM owners for the qualifying/finale rounds. Otherwise, all male KTM owners and motorcycle enthusiasts can take part in the Amateur category.

Just like season 1, the top 3 winners of the KTM Cup Season 2 will get an exclusive chance to train with MotoGP legends and former Grand Prix winners at the Red Bull Ring in Salzburg, Austria. All races will be presided over by ex-MotoGP racer Jeremy McWilliams and 7-time National INMRC Champion and founder of Gusto racin, Emmanuel Jebaraj.
Speaking on the announcement of the second season of the KTM Cup, Sumeet Narang, President at Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “We had an excellent first season and witnessed tremendous response with over 1,000 proud KTM owners being a part of the championship.” He further added, “This season, we welcome women and amateur riders, keeping our promise of turning ambitious amateur riders into pro-bikers, with this platform.”
