Lamborghini will launch its latest supercar, the Revuelto, in India on December 6, 2023. The Revuelto is a successor to the venerable Aventador and is a hybrid vehicle with a V12 engine coupled with three electric motors.
It is expected to be priced north of ₹8 crore and will rival the SF90 Stradale, which itself is priced at ₹7.5 crore (both ex-showroom, before options). Lamborghini may not take new bookings for the Revuelto as the hybrid supercar has been sold out till 2026. The Italian marquee’s Indian division stated that it did manage to secure some allocations and deliveries will begin later this year.
The Revuelto is powered by a new 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces 814 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. Combined with the three electric motors, it produced an astounding 1,001 bhp. It has two electric motors on the front axle producing 148 bhp, while the third electric motor – mounted on the gearbox – produces 295 bhp.
It puts its power down through all four wheels and power is delivered by a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Lamborghini claims the Revuelto has a top speed of over 350 kmph and the 0-100 kmph sprint is done in just 2.5 seconds.
The Revuelto has an edgy, sharp and extravagant design language that includes Y-shaped motifs all around. These motifs can be seen in the headlights, tail-lights, and the headlight enclosure. It also has high-mounted hexagonal-shaped enclosures for the exhausts.
To get inside the Revuelto, you still have to use Lamborghini’s iconic scissor doors and the Y- and hexagonal-shaped design theme continues inside as well. It has an 8.4-inch, vertically-oriented infotainment touchscreen accompanied by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9.1-inch display for the passenger.
