The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged CNG engine that delivers 82 bhp and 220 Nm of torque between 1,200–2,200 rpm. Mahindra claims this setup enables the pickup to perform efficiently even under full load. The vehicle supports a best-in-class payload capacity of 1.85 tonnes, the highest in the CNG category, according to the company. With a 180-litre CNG tank, Mahindra also claims a driving range of up to 400 km on a single fill.

The powertrain is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and the inclusion of power steering makes the vehicle easier to handle in both city and semi-urban conditions. Designed for tough usage, the vehicle gets leaf spring suspension on both axles and 16-inch tyres to support load-bearing while offering stability across varied terrain. In a first for a Mahindra CNG pickup, the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG is equipped with the iMAXX connected vehicle platform. The system provides real-time telematics such as fuel monitoring, trip tracking, engine diagnostics, and vehicle usage insights.

Beyond performance and connectivity, the vehicle also puts a focus on driver comfort. It comes equipped with air conditioning, a heater, and a height-adjustable driver seat. The D+2 seating configuration allows for an additional passenger, which may prove useful in crew-based logistics operations. Another highlight is the cargo bed, which measures 3050 mm in length — making it ideal for transporting bulky goods.
