The company has been aiming to increase the availability of fast chargers and reduce waiting times.
Charge_iN, Mahindra’s EV charging network has added three new ultra-fast charging stations across key corridors in India, the company has announced. With this, there are 31 charging stations and 125+ charging points across India. These points can be located on the Charge_iN by Mahindra app, Me4U, and other leading platforms, the automaker added.
The company has been aiming to increase the availability of fast chargers and reduce waiting times, making EV ownership more practical and attractive.
Earlier in March, Mahindra had said it will roll out new high-speed 180 kW charging points at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) fuel stations across India.
This in line with the government’s national electrification strategy, making EV charging quicker and more convenient.
Using existing fuel stations allows both companies to offer rapid charging plus related facilities. With 180 kW capacity, the upcoming charging points will cater to premium electric car models that support rapid charging.
