Mahindra Last Mile Mobility emerges as the best-selling OEM in the commercial EV space for the fourth consecutive month in September 2025.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has sold more than 3 lakh electric vehicles (EVs) in India so far. This cements its position as the country’s best-selling electric commercial vehicle manufacturer. The company sold its most recent one lakh EVs in 12 months, underscoring strong market acceptance of electric last-mile mobility solutions.
MLMML’s portfolio of fully electric commercial vehicles includes the Treo range, Zor Grand, e-Alfa three-wheelers, and ZEO four-wheeler. Collectively, these vehicles have travelled over 5 billion kilometres, which the company says has prevented the release of more than 185 kilotons of CO₂, equivalent to planting over 4.3 million trees.
Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said, “This milestone is a proud reflection of the trust our customers place in Mahindra’s EVs. We are not just manufacturing electric vehicles; we are enabling livelihoods and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.”
MLMML has launched new as well as upgraded products in the last couple of years, including the Treo Plus sheet metal, e-Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus, and Mahindra ZEO. As of September, MLMML dominates the L5 electric vehicle (EV) segment with a market share of 43 percent. Further, the company commanded an even higher share of 43.3 percent in the L5M passenger e-auto category in September 2025.
In Q2 FY26 (July-September 2025), the company recorded a 51 percent year-on-year increase in commercial EV sales. MLMML concluded the financial year (FY25) with a 37.3 percent market share in the L5 EV category, leading the segment for the fourth consecutive year.
MLMML says its success has been driven by innovation and customer-centric initiatives. At the 2 lakh milestone last year, the company launched the UDAY NXT program, offering benefits such as ₹20 lakh driver insurance and financial counselling. To mark the 3 lakh milestone, it introduced the refreshed NEMO platform — available on iOS, Android, and the web — enabling remote vehicle management, geo-tracking, multi-vehicle control, and service bookings for fleet operators and drivers.
