Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will serve as the perfect rival to the likes of Tata Nexon EV and MG Windsor EV.
Mahindra has launched the all-electric version XUV 3XO. Available in two trims — AX5 and AX7L — the XUV 3XO EV is priced at ₹13.89 lakh and ₹14.96 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively. Deliveries of the sub-compact electric SUV will start from 23 February 2026. The XUV 3XO EV will sit below the XUV400 in Mahindra’s lineup of electric SUVs.
Speaking on this development, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, Chief Executive Officer - Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “The XUV 3XO EV has been engineered around real usage patterns, ensuring that it meets everyday mobility needs reliably. It combines instant electric performance with a package that is tuned for confidence and ease in city driving.”
Visually, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is identical to its fossil-fueled sibling. At the front, it features a body-coloured faux grille paired with hexagonal headlamp units incorporating C-shaped LED DRL signatures. The lower section is defined by a sculpted bumper with a faux skid plate integrated into the lip. Additionally, to distinguish its electric identity, all exterior badges are finished in a copper hue.

The side profile remains largely familiar, projecting a strong road presence thanks to the 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the XUV 3XO features a connected LED light bar that seamlessly integrates into the C-shaped tail-lamp clusters. Lower down, it is equipped with a layered bumper, highlighted by chunky cladding and a more pronounced faux silver skid plate.
Even the cabin and equipment is shared with the petrol and diesel-powered XUV 3XO. It gets the soft touch leatherette on dashboard, steering wheel, and door trims. The dashboard houses a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment. Mahindra has thankfully retained physical toggles and knobs to control important functions. The centre console is finished in gloss-black inserts, while copper accents are used extensively across the cabin.

Mahindra XUV 3XO covers all the bases with notable features such as 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Adrenox with Alexa, built-in navigation, a 6-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, keyless entry, ventilated seats, keyless entry and automatic LED headlamps to name a few.

In terms of safety, the XUV 3XO packs features like 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV comes equipped with a 39.4 kWh battery pack that sends power to a front-mounted electric motor. This motor delivers a peak output of 148 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO could return a real-world range of 285 km on a full charge.
