While the entire Maruti lineup has become dearer, the e Vitara has witnessed the steepest price hike.
Maruti Suzuki has increased prices across its entire portfolio in June 2026, with the e Vitara getting the highest price hike by up to ₹30,000 depending on the variant. This is in line with Maruti’s announcement last month, where the company revealed that its car prices will go up by up to ₹30,000. After the price hike, the e Vitara now retails for ₹15.99-19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The e Vitara is also offered with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option. The entry-level Delta variant is priced at ₹10.99 lakh, along with a battery rental charge of ₹3.99 per km. The Zeta and Alpha variants have been revised to ₹11.99 lakh and ₹14.29 lakh respectively, with the battery priced at ₹4.39 per km.
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara comes with two battery choices: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The base Delta trim is fitted with the 49 kWh battery, delivering a range of 440 km. It drives a single electric motor that puts out 142 bhp and 193 Nm of torque. The battery takes 6.5 hours to charge via a 7.4 kW AC charger, and 45 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The Zeta and Alpha trims are equipped with the bigger 61 kWh battery pack, which gives the vehicle a maximum range of 543 km. The electric motor here is a touch more potent, generating 172 bhp and 193 Nm. The battery can be topped up in 9 hours through a 7.4 kW AC charger, and in 45 minutes with a DC fast charger.
The car competes with the Hyundai Creta Electric, VinFast VF 6, MG Windsor, and its own badge engineered twin, the Toyota Ebella in the Indian market.
