Price hikes will vary depending on the model.
Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it will hike the prices of its cars from January 1, 2025. The Indian auto giant said prices will be hiked by up to 4 per cent and it will vary depending on the models. 
The price hike has been attributed to rising input and operational costs. Maruti Suzuki also said while it tried to absorb most of the impact of the increasing costs, some of the brunt has been passed on to the market.
Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio currently consists of the Alto K10, S Presso, Celerio, Wagon R, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza, Eeco, Fronx, Baleno, Jimny, Grand Vitara, Ignis, Ciaz, XL6, and Invicto. With the new year around the corner, brands like Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi. We expect brands like Tata Motors, Kia, Mahindra, MG, Skoda, Volkswagen and more.
