The price hike is applicable to all cars in Hyundai's portfolio.
Hyundai Motor India has announced that it will hike the prices of its entire model range from January 1, 2025. While Hyundai didn’t mention the percentage of the price hike, it did say that the prices will be hiked by up to ₹25,000.
The price hike will be applicable to all model year 2025 cars in Hyundai’s line-up. The South Korean brand says the prices have been hiked due to increasing input costs, adverse exchange rates and increasing logistics costs.
Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai India, said, “At Hyundai Motor India Limited, our endeavour is always to absorb rising costs to the extent possible, ensuring minimal impact on our customers. However, with the sustained increase in input cost, it has now become imperative to pass on a part of this cost escalation through a minor price adjustment. This price increase will be done across models and the extent of the increase will be up to ₹25,000. The price increase will be effective from January 1, 2025, on all MY25 models.”
