Maruti Suzuki will launch the facelifted version of the second-gen Brezza in India tomorrow, July 24, 2026. The subcompact SUV is expected to bring subtle aesthetic changes, an upgraded cabin layout, and a potential powertrain addition to offer stronger competition in the crowded sub-four-metre segment.

The most significant change for the updated Brezza is anticipated under the bonnet. Maruti Suzuki is widely expected to introduce its 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol on the Brezza facelift. This unit produces approximately 99 bhp and 147 Nm on the Fronx, but it could be tuned differently on the new Brezza. The turbo-petrol unit is expected to come paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Alongside the new turbo engine, the SUV will retain its existing 1.5-litre K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. The factory-fitted CNG option will also continue, possibly adopting an underbody tank layout similar to the recently introduced Victoris to preserve boot space.

Inside, the cabin could receive key technological upgrades, including a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen replacing the older 9-inch unit and ventilated front seats. Existing highlights such as the single-pane electric sunroof, head-up display, wireless charging pad, 360-degree camera, and rear air-conditioning vents carry over to the updated model.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Price Expectation

It will be worth noting how Maruti positions the new Brezza on price. While it gets fresh styling and added features, the 1.0-litre engine will allow it to fall under the sub-4-metre tax bracket, which could help bring costs down. Whether Maruti prices it below the current Brezza or keeps it in a similar range is still unclear. For context, the existing Brezza is priced between ₹8.26 lakh and ₹12.86 lakh, ex-showroom.
