Maruti Suzuki India Limited has invested nearly ₹2 crore in Bengaluru-based Ravity Software Solutions Private Limited, acquiring an equity stake of over 7.84% through its Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund.
Ravity Software, founded in 2022, operates an AI-driven platform that processes connected-vehicle data to provide actionable insights for automotive manufacturers and fleet operators. The technology supports improvements in engineering, quality monitoring, operational efficiency, revenue generation and customer experience.
This marks the third investment under the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund. The company previously invested similar amounts in Amlgo Labs Private Limited (March 2024) and Sociograph Solutions Private Limited (June 2022).
Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the investment aligns with the company’s focus on enhancing vehicle ownership experience through data-driven solutions. He added that collaboration with startups helps bring agility and specialised expertise to address customer needs, in line with the government’s Startup India initiative.
Vikas Rungta, Founder of Ravity Software Solutions, stated that the partnership with Maruti Suzuki combines the carmaker’s scale with the startup’s capabilities in AI, analytics and mobility, aiming to improve customer experience.
Maruti Suzuki has been engaging with startups since 2019 through various innovation programmes to foster new technologies relevant to its operations.
