Quickstop is a compact, container-based service format aimed at improving convenience, reducing downtime, and expanding service reach across high-density urban locations.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the rollout of ‘Quickstop’, a compact and prefabricated service format designed for quick deployment with minimal space requirements. Built using modified container units, these service touchpoints are equipped to handle routine maintenance and minor repair work efficiently.
The Quickstop facilities are being strategically deployed at high vehicle-density locations such as corporate campuses, airport zones, and fleet hubs, enabling customers to access servicing at places they frequently visit. The initiative is aimed at enhancing service accessibility while reducing infrastructure costs and setup timelines.
As part of the pilot phase, Maruti Suzuki has established 10 Quickstop facilities across key cities including Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bagdogra, Calicut and Surat.
Commenting on the initiative, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the concept was developed to address the growing need for convenient vehicle servicing amid increasingly busy lifestyles. He noted that the compact, container-based units can be quickly installed and are well-suited for locations such as offices, airports and fleet hubs.
He added that the format allows office-goers to drop off their vehicles during work hours and collect them after servicing, while fleet operators benefit from reduced vehicle downtime and improved utilisation.
Quickstop facilities are operated by Maruti Suzuki’s dealer partners, with space provided by corporate entities or fleet operators. This collaborative approach supports scalability and cost efficiency. The service format also incorporates eco-friendly practices such as waterless car washing and the use of battery-powered equipment, contributing to lower resource consumption and reduced environmental impact.
