Maruti Suzuki India Limited has partnered with five startups to implement technology solutions across its operations. The automaker announced the collaboration on 30 January 2026 in New Delhi.

Startups Selected from Incubation Programme

The five startups were selected from the 4th Cohort of the Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program (MSIP). The programme runs in partnership with IIM Bangalore's Nadathur S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL). The selected startups are AugurAI, Aatral, Zen Mobility, Indus Vision, and Proxgy.

Technology Solutions Across Business Areas

AugurAI will provide AI-based visual inspection for defect identification in components for manufacturing. Aatral will work on AI-assisted inspection and 3D digital validation to help suppliers manufacture components. Zen Mobility will focus on electric mobility for last-mile delivery of spare parts and accessories. Indus Vision will deploy AI-powered visual inspection of vehicles. Proxgy will enhance employee safety on the shopfloor through IoT and wearables that monitor conditions and alert employees. For crane-lifting areas, the AI system can alert workers or stop the crane to prevent incidents.

Statement from Maruti Suzuki Leadership

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated that technology has become a factor in the operating landscape. He noted that the startups are helping achieve higher levels of precision in manufacturing, mobility for delivery of aftermarket parts, and safety for employees.
