Maruti Suzuki Reports Record FY26 Performance; Q4 Net Sales Cross ₹50,000 Crore

Maruti Suzuki today announced its financial results for FY26, posting its highest-ever annual domestic and export sales, along with record net sales and net profit.

The company achieved total sales of 2,422,713 units in FY26, including domestic sales of 1,974,939 units and exports of 447,774 units, marking a significant increase over the previous year. Net sales rose 20.2% year-on-year to ₹174,369.5 crore, while net profit reached an all-time high of ₹14,445.4 crore.

In the fourth quarter, Maruti Suzuki recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales at 676,209 units, up 11.8% year-on-year. Net sales for the quarter crossed the ₹50,000 crore milestone for the first time, reaching ₹50,078.7 crore. Operating profit (EBIT) grew 30.4% to ₹4,409.2 crore, while net profit declined 6.9% to ₹3,590.5 crore due to mark-to-market impact.

The company continued its leadership in exports, remaining India’s top passenger vehicle exporter for the fifth consecutive year and accounting for 49% of total exports. Exports of the made-in-India e Vitara, its first BEV, expanded to 44 countries.

Growth during the year was supported by strong domestic demand in the second half, aided by GST reduction. However, production constraints impacted volumes, with around 190,000 pending customer orders at year-end and dealer inventory at approximately 12 days.

The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹140 per share for FY26, the highest in the company’s history.
