Mercedes-Benz has announced it will showcase its third concept car at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The German marque will now display the AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept at the NMACC till May 2024. The concept car was first revealed in 2013 and was initially developed only for the Gran Turismo 6 racing game.

The AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept houses AMG’s 5.5-litre M157 V8 petrol engine producing 577 bhp and 800 Nm. The concept has classic sportscar proportions with a long bonnet and a small greenhouse with a fastback-style roof ending at the tail. It gets eight exhaust tips with a full-width LED light bar running between the exhausts. The concept also gets an F1-style third stop-light in the rear diffuser.

Lance Bennett, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said “Mercedes-AMG GT 6 accentuates our hallmark design philosophy, evoking emotions through its styling. With this vehicle we reiterate the desirability and exclusivity that is core to our brand, inspiring discerning customers and brand enthusiasts, the world over. The Cultural Centre, with its exclusive and modern ambience, is the perfect place to showcase this top-end futuristic concept car in India.”

Since October 2023, Mercedes-Benz has showcased two concept cars at the NMACC. First was the Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6, followed by the Mercedes-Benz EQG earlier this year.
