Godbole is expected to drive a more personalised customer experience through the use of real-time data and predictive analytics.

Mercedes-Benz India on Monday announced a series of leadership changes within its sales and marketing division, effective September 1, 2026. As part of the rejig, Nandita Godbole, currently General Manager of the Digital Customer Unit, will take over as Head of Marketing, succeeding Amrit Baid. Having held leadership roles across marketing, retail sales and digital customer functions, Godbole is expected to drive a more personalised customer experience through the use of real-time data and predictive analytics.

Amrit Baid will assume responsibility for the company's Retail Finance and Pre-Owned Cars business. The division has grown into a significant part of Mercedes-Benz India's operations, supporting more than half of the vehicles sold by the company and managing a portfolio valued at over ₹15,000 crore.

This comes at a time when the luxury carmaker strengthens its focus on data-led customer engagement, artificial intelligence and integrated retail finance.

The reshuffle also includes a change in the Product Planning & Sales Planning function.

Jamsheed Bhadha, currently General Manager for Product Planning & Sales Planning, will take up a new role with Mercedes-Benz in Dubai. He will be succeeded by Sanjay Kochar, who currently heads TEV and BEV Sales.

These organizational changes reinforce our commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences using real time data strategies, AI deployment, and integrated business capabilities, while building future-ready leaders by offering a broader cross-functional exposure to our talents. We wish them continued success in their new roles as they will shape the next chapter of our innovation-led growth," Brendon Sissing, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said in a statement.
