Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will reveal the in-car assistant at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 next month. The MBUX Virtual Assistant runs on the MB.OS or Mercedes-Benz Operating System which debuted on the Vision EQXX concept and was also shown with the Concept CLA at the Munich Motor Show earlier this year.
Ola Kallenius, Chief Operating Officer, Mercedes-Benz said, “Mercedes-Benz is reinventing the digital passenger experience by leveraging AI to offer human-like interaction with the intelligent MBUX Virtual Assistant. It includes empathetic characteristics that sync with your driving style and mood. Paired with our in-house MB.OS architecture, this approach will define the future of digital luxury”
The new Virtual Assistant uses advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features and has high-resolution game-engine graphics developed on the Unity platform. Mercedes-Benz claims this new system will be presented along with other digital innovations at CES 2024.
At CES 2024, Mercedes-Benz will showcase the Concept CLA and a camouflaged prototype of the upcoming electric G-Class called the EQG. Furthermore, it will also show developments in the field of in-car entertainment and an as-of-yet-undefined partnership in this sector.
