Mercedes-Benz India launched the limited-run GLE and GLS Night Editions, featuring exclusive Alpine Grey paint and black Nappa leather.
Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the exclusive "Night Edition" for its GLE and GLS luxury SUVs, offering a limited-series run of its two most popular flagship models. These variants feature unique configurations and darkened aesthetic treatments that are not available on the standard versions of either vehicle.
The GLE Night Edition is available in two variants, with the 300d 4MATIC priced at ₹1.05 crore and the 450 4MATIC at ₹1.14 crore. For the larger GLS Night Edition, the 450 4MATIC petrol is positioned at ₹1.41 crore, while the 450d 4MATIC diesel retails for ₹1.43 crore (all prices ex-showroom, India). Depending on the specific model, these editions carry a premium ranging from ₹1.30 lakh to ₹5.50 lakh over their respective standard counterparts.

Visually, the Night Edition models are distinguished by a blacked-out exterior theme offered in two paint shades: Obsidian Black and an exclusive Alpine Grey. The latter is a bespoke color reserved strictly for this limited series.
The interior follows a similar dark theme, featuring black Nappa leather upholstery paired with Anthracite open-pore oak wood trim, materials that are absent from the regular catalog. Furthermore, a heads-up display is now included as a standard feature across both SUV lines in this edition.
It must be noted that the 2026 facelifts of both Merc GLE and GLS have already been revealed globally. However, these Night Edition variants are based on the pre-facelift models. The company hasn’t provided a specific timeline of when the updated models will launch in India.
