MG Motor India has finally announced the prices of the Comet EV. While the price of the base variant was out, the other variants and their respective pricing were still under wraps. The MG Comet EV will be available in 3 variants and the variant-wise pricing is in the table below:
MG Comet EV Variants | Price (ex-showroom India) |
Pace | Rs. 7.98 lakh |
Play | Rs. 9.28 lakh |
Plush | Rs. 9.98 lakh |
The price is only applicable for the first 5000 bookings. The Comet EV competes with the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3 and MG Motor India has managed to undercut both its rivals by quite a margin. While the Comet EV is Rs. 2 lakh cheaper than the Taigo EV, it is close to Rs. 3 lakh less expensive than the eC3.

The company has not yet said when it will change the price of the car or what the percentage hike would be. We wait to see how MG handles this revision.
