The Cyberster will be the first electric sportscar in the country.
JSW MG Motor India will launch the Cyberster in India on June 25. The Cyberster is the brand’s first convertible electric sportscar in India and also the most powerful model it produces globally. Upon launch, the Cyberster will be the only electric sportscar available in the country, making it a very unique offering.
Deliveries for the Cyberster will start from July onwards and it is expected to be priced between ₹70 - 80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Cyberster will be sold through MG's premium range of dealerships called MG Select. There are no direct rivals for the MG Cyberster but it can see competition from the likes of the BMW Z4 (₹92.90 - 97.90 lakh).
The Cyberster will get a single GT variant with a 77 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of more than 440 km, and two electric motors churning out 503 bhp and 725 Nm. The Cyberster is capable of achieving 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds (claimed) with a claimed top speed of around 200 kmph, making it the quickest and fastest MG model available in India.
Inside, the Cyberster, like all MG models, is a tech fest. It comes with four individual screens with three behind the steering wheel and one for the air conditioning. The digital cluster measures 10.25-inch and the two screens flanking it measure 7-inch each. It will also get an 8-speaker BOSE audio system, 360-degree camera, connected car tech, vehicle-to-load capability, and more.
