MG India Reports Highest-Ever Monthly Wholesales of 8,158 Units in July 2026

JSW MG Motor India has reported its highest-ever monthly wholesale volume for the second consecutive month, dispatching 8,158 units in July 2026. This represents a 22% year-on-year growth compared to the corresponding period last year, driven by strong retail demand and customer preference for its electrified portfolio.  

New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) registered their highest-ever monthly sales, contributing over 80% of total company wholesales in July. The sustained demand highlights the expanding adoption of electric mobility among Indian buyers across both urban and sub-urban markets. Alongside its EV portfolio, the carmaker noted steady consumer interest in its internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, stated that the July performance reflects rising consumer confidence in the brand's product offerings and ownership programs. He added that the company will continue to broaden its vehicle range, enhance customer service touchpoints, and introduce new ownership solutions such as MG ADAPT to accelerate sustainable mobility adoption across India.
