JSW MG Motor has introduced the Windsor EV Inspire Edition, a limited-run variant priced at ₹12.64 lakh plus ₹3.9 per kilometre (ex-showroom with battery-as-a-service) to capitalise on festive season demand.
The special edition, limited to just 300 units, offers cosmetic upgrades and additional features over the regular Windsor EV variants. It is based on the Essence variant and can also be purchased without the battery-as-a-service option for ₹16.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Inspire Edition features a dual-tone Pearl White and Starry Black paint scheme, 18-inch black alloy wheels, matching black ORVMs and special Inspire badging. The exterior retains the Windsor's distinctive bulbous design with circular headlamps, LED daytime running lights and flush door handles.
Inside, the special edition adds optional roof illuminations, wireless sill plates and dual-tone Sangria Red and Black upholstery with an Inspire motif. A special accessory pack includes Rose Gold styling elements across the front grille, body side mouldings and bumper corner protectors, along with themed 3D mats, Inspire cushions, rear window sunshades and a premium leather key cover.
The cabin features a minimalistic design with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system dominating the flat dashboard. Key features include a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, fixed panoramic sunroof, 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, 256-colour ambient lighting, keyless entry and go, wireless phone charger and powered tailgate.
The standout feature remains the rear seat, which reclines up to 135 degrees for enhanced passenger comfort.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, hill hold assist and electronic parking brake with auto hold.
The Windsor EV Inspire Edition is powered by a 38 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 332 km. The single electric motor produces 134 bhp and 200 Nm. The model competes with other mass-market electric vehicles including the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Curvv EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta Electric. MG also offers the ZS EV in the same segment.
