Motul is among the most popular brands in the premium lubricant segment
Motul India showcased its advanced lubrication and fluid technologies at SIAT Expo 2026. The company highlighted future-ready solutions designed to support electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and next-generation powertrains. The showcase featured direct cooling solutions for e-motors, power electronics, and battery systems, demonstrating how advanced fluids can improve vehicle safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Motul also highlighted the work of its global R&D teams in developing lubricants for conventional internal combustion engines, including hydrogen ICEs, while preparing for emerging mobility platforms.
Speaking to Acko Drive, company officials confirmed that it will be introducing a new range of oils for two-wheelers in the near future as demand for performance bikes is witnessing a huge surge. Apart from lubricants, Motul will also be launching new fork oils for motorcycles, a segment which is often given not much value but is important. India is among the biggest markets for the French giant and the company has been clocking robust sales with double digit growth. In addition, Motul also exports its made-in-India products to our neighboring countries.

Dr Julien Plet, Global Head of R&D, Motul said, “Motul’s research and development teams across geographies continue to focus on advancing lubricant performance for existing powertrains while developing technologies aligned with future mobility needs and local market conditions.”.” Dr Julien also presented the keynote address on Innovative Fluids for NextGen Mobility at SIAT 2026.
