MV Agusta and ABT Sportsline launched the limited edition Brutale 1000 ABT. Restricted to 130 units, the motorcycle features extensive carbon fibre and premium Ohlins hardware.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta has partnered with German tuning specialist ABT Sportsline to unveil the Brutale 1000 ABT. This exclusive collaboration resulted in a limited production run of just 130 individually numbered units, a figure chosen to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the German tuning firm.
The motorcycle is powered by a 998 cc inline four engine that has been updated to meet the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards. Engineering refinements include new camshafts, revised engine mapping, and optimised gearbox ratios with a shorter final drive for more aggressive acceleration.
In its standard configuration, the engine delivers 198 bhp at 13,500 rpm. However, customers can opt for a racing kit featuring an Arrow titanium exhaust and a dedicated engine control unit, which increases the total output to 205 bhp at 14,000 rpm.

To ensure elite handling, the Brutale 1000 ABT is equipped with electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension at both the front and rear, allowing riders to fine tune damping settings on the fly. The braking system utilises dual 320 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema calipers.
Extensive use of lightweight materials is a hallmark of this edition, featuring forged wheels and 19 separate carbon fibre components, such as the airbox cover, fuel tank side panels, and a unique rear wheel cover.
Visually, the limited edition is finished in a metallic carbon black and fire red livery. Each purchase includes a comprehensive ownership package containing a certificate of authenticity and a custom bike cover. In Italy, the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 ABT is priced at approximately ₹46 lakh.
