Maruti Suzuki India has launched the all-new Swift in India at a starting price of ₹6.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) with a single petrol engine option coupled to both manual and AMT units. Let’s look at the new updates on the fourth-generation Swift through this image gallery.
The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift brings in a refreshed grille, redesigned headlamps, and bumpers up front.
In profile, the new Swift features redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels and relocated rear door handles now positioned lower on the C-pillar.
An inverted C-shaped lighting element adorns the taillamps at the back, along with heavily revised tailgate and bumper designs.
Inside, the new Swift features a layered dashboard design inspired by the Fronx and Baleno.
It gets a freestanding 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and connected car technology for higher trim levels.
The new Swift employs a new Z-Series, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine generating 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque.
The new Swift continues to power the front wheels via a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
The Swift now returns 25.75 kmpl with the AMT and 24.8 kmpl with the manual version (ARAI claimed).
