The Hyundai Venue is due to get a new generation soon, and its test mules have been spotted testing in India for a while. While the previous test mule was spotted with Pune registration, the new test mules have been spotted with Bengaluru registration. This implies that Hyundai is testing the new Venue in India in full swing, ahead of its launch in India. It is expected to debut in India in July this year.

The Venue was first launched in India in 2019, and the new generation coming in late 2025 or early 2026 seems apt. The new spy shots of the Venue only show the rear of the new Venue, which wasn’t very clear in the previous spy shots. They show that the Venue will get a new design for the taillamps, which could also be connected like the current car but because of the camouflage, it’s not visible. It can also be seen with a new greenhouse and a new design for the alloy wheels.Hyundai_Venue_c21ce53704.webp

The previous spy shots show the new Venue will get a bolder design for the fascia, with its design being more similar to the new Palisade and the new Alcazar. The Venue will also get sharp C-shaped LED DRLs enclosing the headlamps and like a wider-looking stance from the front.

The interior of the new Venue is yet to be spotted or revealed even but expect it to come with a major overhaul. It could come with a new dashboard, new touchscreen, new upholstery and new features like ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera and an advanced version of Hyundai’s ADAS system.2025_Hyundai_Venue_Facelift_rear_889334e08e.webp

The new Venue is likely to have the same powertrain options as the current model. It is expected to continue with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Gearbox options are likely to include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. It will continue to rival the Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and the likes.
