Royal Enfield is one Indian motorcycle brand that has spread its wings across the globe. The Chennai-based bikemaker has established a strong foothold in markets of Europe, North America, and South Asia. However, the company is yet to penetrate deep into the Central Asia and Middle East markets.
At a tech exhibition in Jerusalem, Royal Enfield has showcased the Goan Classic 350. The event was attended by Prime Ministers of India and Israel — Narendra Modi and Benjamin Netanyahu, respectively and both decided to pose with the bike for a picture. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Israel as both countries explore ways to expand ties in terms of trade as well as culture.
The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a bobber-style lifestyle derivative of the Classic 350, sharing its core components. Visual highlights include teardrop-shaped fuel tank, curved fenders, a floating seat, and more importantly tall ape-hanger handlebars. Powering the bike is a 349 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

The Goan Classic 350 is built around a double cradle frame that is suspended by a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by 300 mm front and 270 mm rear disc brakes aided by a dual-channel ABS. In terms of features, the Goan Classic comes equipped with LED lights, tripper navigation, and a gear position indicator.

Alongside India, the Goan Classic is shipped to overseas markets such as United Kingdom, Australia, and North America. The bike is a niche offering that is primarily targeted at developed markets and part of Royal Enfield’s broader global strategy. However, the company hasn’t divulged the exact sales or export figures of the Goan Classic yet. Enfield currently operates in 80 countries around the world.
