The current-gen Venue has consistently been one of the company's best-selling models in India since its launch.
Hyundai is set to unveil the next generation of its popular subcompact SUV, the Venue on November 4, slightly later than the October 24 date reported earlier. Multiple sightings of partially disguised test mules indicate that the company has decided on a comprehensive makeover for the exterior as well as significant changes on the inside.
The Venue competes in a busy market segment that includes the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite. According to the company’s own data, it sold 11,484 units of the Venue in September 2025, a 20-month high thanks to strong festive season demand. It has consistently been one of the company's best-selling models in India since its launch.
In terms of looks, the new Venue will match the design language of the current-gen Hyundai Creta and Alcazar. It’s expected to be blocker and more squared-off in shape. It will have a wider front grille, with spy shots showing a rectangular grid pattern. New headlamps and daytime running lights have been designed as split vertical stacks with sharp angles, forming C shapes on either side of the front grille. Buyers can also expect new taillights connected by an LED light bar running across the rear.
According to multiple sets of spy shots, the 2025 Venue will have redesigned alloy wheels, a flatter roof with rails, a new tailgate, new bumpers, and bigger windows.
On the inside, the biggest change is likely to be a dual-display setup with twin 10.25-inch screens, designed to look like a single curved panel. This will require a significant dashboard redesign, with repositioned AC vents. Modern features such as L2 ADAS and a fresh look for the cabin upholstery and panels.
Under the hood, not much is expected to remain unchanged, with Hyundai continuing to offer the Venue with a Kappa 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, or 1.5-litre diesel engines.
The current Hyundai Venue is priced starting at ₹7.26 lakh and goes up to ₹12.18 lakh (ex-showroom), following a significant reduction thanks to last month’s GST revision. There is no indication yet whether Hyundai will raise prices across variants, though slight increases are likely. The company is also reportedly planning to refresh the performance-oriented Venue N-Line model at the same time or shortly after the new Venue launches.
