Leaves crowd in awe with its sleek design and impressive specs

In a stunning reveal at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links, Nilu27 co-founders Sasha and Inna Selipanov unveiled their company's first vehicle, the Nilu hypercar, on August 15. The event, held at the 18th hole, drew a crowd of car enthusiasts and collectors, who were left speechless by the hypercar's sleek design and impressive specs. As the cover was pulled off, someone in the crowd yelled, "Holy shit!" - a reaction that Nilu27's Sasha Selipanov later said was the exact response he was aiming for.

The Nilu hypercar has a naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing 1,055 bhp and 860 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed manual gearbox and gated shifter. It comes with forged aluminium, double-wishbone pushrod suspension, and carbon ceramic brakes. The design, inspired by 1960s Formula 1 and LeMans race cars, features C-shaped LED DRLs, a bubble-like greenhouse, and large NACA ducts for cooling.

Sasha Selipanov, a 20-year veteran of the car design industry with stints at Bugatti, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, and Genesis, proclaimed that the seven-speed manual transmission Nilu hypercar marks a return to the analogue-based vehicles of the past.

Unlike many contemporary cars, the Nilu features no "driving modes" and instead relies on manual levers and switches to adjust the steering wheel, pedal box, headrest, door mirrors, and other settings.

With a top speed limited to 400 kmph and a weight of just 1,200 kg, the Nilu hypercar is a true performance machine. However, Nilu27 hasn't quoted a 0-100 kmph figure, saying it depends on the driver. The interior features gullwing doors, fixed seats, and a 5-point racing harness, emphasising its track-only focus.

The Nilu hypercar will be limited to just 15 units, with a road-going version in development, limited to 54 units. The unveiling was part of a series of events at Pebble Beach, including the reveal of the 2025 BMW M5 and the British electric vehicle RBW.
