Besides Triber, Nissan Gravite will also be an alternative to the likes of Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3.
Nissan is all geared up to launch the Gravite tomorrow. A rebadged version of the Renault Triber, the Gravite is underpinned by the same CMF-A+ platform. The Gravite will also be Nissan’s first of the three models to be launched in the next one year. Ahead of its launch, let us go through what to expect from the Nissan Gravite.
Based on the teasers released so far, the Nissan Gravite seems to share similar proportions with its French counterpart, albeit with several distinctive and more refined styling cues. These include a honeycomb-pattern grille and a sculpted bonnet with a hood scoop–inspired treatment. Along the sides, the MPV will come with roof rails, while a fresh alloy wheel design will add to its visual appeal. At the rear, the Gravite receives revised tail-lamps, silver accents, and prominent badging, giving it a distinct identity compared to its Renault counterpart.

Like the Triber, the Gravite will be offered in a 7-seat (5+2) configuration with a removable third row of seats to free up luggage space when required. As seen in the teasers, the cabin is set to wear an all-black theme with soft beige accents on the doors. The dashboard is expected to feature a centrally positioned touchscreen with air vents placed above it, along with a new three-spoke steering wheel equipped with mounted controls.
The Gravite is likely to offer a range of convenience and connectivity features, including multiple USB ports, cup holders, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a cooled glove box, wireless charging, storage compartments, and cruise control. Additional expected highlights include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, six standard airbags, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Nissan Gravite is expected to be powered by the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine used in the Renault Triber. This three-cylinder motor delivers 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque and will likely be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. A dealer-fitted CNG option is also anticipated, catering to buyers seeking lower running costs.

Nissan is expected to price the upcoming Gravite between ₹6 lakh and ₹9 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It will primarily rival the Renault Triber in the sub-compact MPV segment.
