Nissan Launches Gravite CNG Retrofitment Kit In India; Price And Other Details

Nissan Motor India has launched a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for the Nissan Gravite. The kit is available at an introductory price of ₹82,999 and can be fitted through Nissan authorised dealers in 16 states. 

The company said the kit uses a twin-cylinder setup of 2 x 25 litres and keeps the Gravite’s seven-seat layout. Nissan said the system has been developed and quality assured by Motozen and comes with a three-year, one lakh km third-party warranty on kit components. 
According to the company, the kit is available across 60 cities in 16 states. Nissan said the CNG option has been designed for customers who want lower running costs while using a seven-seater vehicle for daily travel. 

Nissan said the system has sequential BS6.2 compliance and is ICAT approved. The company also said the kit includes an 8.1 mm cylinder thickness, Dynamic Advancer Technology, a fuel filling point under the fuel lid, and a petrol-to-CNG switch over system. 

Nissan Motor India Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said the CNG solution follows the response to the Magnite CNG and has been developed for families that need space and flexibility.
