The Magnite Kuro Edition comes in four variants, two engines and three transmission options.
Nissan India has launched the black edition variants of the Magnite, called the Kuro Edition, at ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Kuro Edition will be available in four variants, two engine options and three transmission options. Now, this isn’t the first time the Magnite has had the Kuro Edition, since the pre-facelift version also had it.
| Variants | Price (ex-showroom, India) |
|---|---|
| Kuro MT | ₹8.30 lakh |
| Kuro AMT | ₹8.85 lakh |
| Kuro Turbo MT | ₹9.71 lakh |
| Kuro Turbo CVT | ₹10.86 lakh |
Like the previous Kuro Edition, the Magnite also gets blacked-out exterior and interior elements. The Magnite Kuro Edition is devoid of any shiny elements as all have been given a black treatment – the grille, the elements next to it, bumper garnishes, alloy wheels, and all other accents have been blacked out. In addition to the Kuro, the standard Magnite also gets a new Metallic Grey colour option that is available on the Tekna, Tekna+ and N Connecta trims.

Even inside, there are no shiny elements as everything has a dark tint. The standard Magnite gets a black and orange theme, while the Kuro has a blacked-out theme. It still comes with features like an 8-inch touchscreen, a dashcam, a 7-inch virtual cluster, and a wireless charger, among others.

The Magnite Kuro gets both engine options as the regular Magnite. So it means it gets a 1.0-litre petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Both get a 5-speed manual transmission, and while the petrol gets the choice of a 5-speed AMT, the turbo-petrol gets a CVT.

The Magnite rivals the likes of the Renault Kiger, Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Skoda Kylaq. Of these, only the Exter, Venue and Nexon get a dedicated black edition.
