Nissan has also exported 30,000 units of the Magnite SUV from India till date.
The Nissan Magnite has surpassed its one lakh sales milestone in India. Compounding this the marque has also managed to retail more than 30,000 units of the B-SUV annually for the third consecutive consecutive year.
The Nissan Magnite is the Japanese carmaker's sole offering in India, and it is based on the same platform that also underpins the Renault Kiger. It was launched in India in 2020, and after a slow start, sales really picked up in 2021, 2022, and 2023, when Nissan retailed 41,686, 44,086, and 39,449 units of the B-SUV in India.
Speaking on the occasion achieving this milestone figure, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented, “Building on the remarkable achievements of the Magnite, we are now embarking on an exciting journey. Our focus is on creating a new product lineup that will resonate with the discerning Indian market.” On this note, Nissan is also planning to introduce a new 7-seater iteration of the Magnite. Just like the Magnite, the upcoming model is also slated to be based on the same platform that underpins its Renault counterpart, the Triber.
Moreover, the marque has also managed to export 30,000 units of the Made-in-India Magnite SUV till date. Currently, the Nissan Magnite is exported to 15 countries, and recently it was launched in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei.
